Harvey Phelps
ERMC Corporate Diversity Officer

Harvey Phelps serves as Corporate Diversity Officer for ERMC. In this role, he has helped establish ERMC as a leader in diversity, growing relationships significantly for the company with both minority-owned suppliers and sub-contractors. Additionally, Mr. Phelps has established ERMC’s mentor-protégé program which helps strengthen disadvantaged and minority-owned companies. He also works closely with Human Resources to continue developing ERMC’s corporate diversity program.

Mr. Phelps has spent his entire career promoting diversity with a wide variety of organizations. Among his accomplishments, Mr. Phelps worked for Control Data, has had his own business offering diversity consulting, and served as Executive Director of the Las Vegas Black Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Phelps serves on the Executive Committee for the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC), the Manchester, Texas Independent School District Foundation board, is a Zoning and Planning Commissioner for the City of Mansfield, Texas and is very involved in the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Mr. Phelps has three sons and two daughters and lives with his wife, Chekeelah in Manchester, Texas.
